@40 - I feel that life is about four concepts working in concert with one another: faith, love, hope and trust.

@40 - I can hear what you are not saying.  I listen more these days.  I pay attention in ways that escaped me in my 20s.

@40 - I enjoy hip hop more today than I once did.  I like stories and I like beats.  I escape in my music everyday.

@40 - I'm more comfortable in my own skin.  I know who I am and, most importantly, am not.  I'm genuine all the time - everyday and in every way.

@40 - It's getting harder and harder to surprise my wife.  She knows me all too well.

@40 - I'm NOT an ass kicker anymore.  I grow weary of people comparing the "new" me with the "old" me.  I'm a reformed / rehabilitated asshole.  Trust that.

@40 - I enjoy working out now.  Not sure I have crossed over into "loving" working out but I now don't hate it like I once did.

@40 - I can be alone and NOT think about work.  Yeah, I'm still a workaholic but I go about it differently now than I did in my 20s.

@40 - I enjoy shopping for my son.  I grew up middle class (if not poor) and I enjoy getting him cool gear.

@40 - I now realize that everyone doesn't have to see the world exactly like I do.  It's okay to be opinionated, it's NOT okay to beat people to death with said opinions.

@40 - I'm 110% comfortable with my brand of Catholicism.
