What were you doing before you came to work at ST?

I worked as a senior designer at a small design boutique designing focused more on B2C, though we worked on just about any project that came through the door. Prior to that, I was an Associate Creative Director at a mid-sized promotions agency. And prior to that, I was the creative director at a small creative agency focused on the dining sector.

Why do you like working at ST?

The freedom to do what I do best – concept – with a flexible, talented team.

What's the most unusual thing you have ever tossed off the fire escape?

My hopes and dreams.

Summarize your professional background in 50 words or less

I am a creative with over 13 years of professional experience in the advertising, promotions and design market. Strong design exists between the creative concept and the perfect execution. With that in mind, I have always enjoyed taking a project from concept to completion, and the knowledge I have gained has ensured that no idea is lost due to poor execution. My positive attitude and imaginative personality are the core of my professional relationships.

Where did you grow up?

I haven't yet.

What's your favorite all-time pet?

My dog, Rusty. He was a stray that my wife and I picked up in 2007.

What is the stupidest thing you did in school?

My parents wouldn't let me have any of the donuts in the pantry one day. I snuck into the pantry throughout the day and picked pieces off the back of the donuts. Since, I placed uneaten side up my parents couldn't tell that I had been eating them until that went to grab one for themselves. I didn't think the whole operation through, but I didn't get caught until the next day either.

What song changed your life?

“Peanut Butter Jelly Time” by the Buckwheat Boyz.

What is your favorite movie and why?

“The Empire Strikes Back,” because it is the best movie ever. Plus, I'm a “Star Wars” dork.

What's your life philosophy?

Always have a good philosophy.
